Eric Wanger

Eric Wanger, JD, is a Chicago native. Currently, he is composing and performing music for solo piano and small chamber ensembles as part of a salon concert series he hosts in Chicago in partnership with the Stanford Club.

 

He studied classical and jazz piano, clarinet, saxophone and flute and played lead tenor saxophone with the University of Illinois Jazz Bands under Ray Sasaki.

 

He received a mathematics degree from University of Illinois, and a Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School.

 

After a lengthy hiatus from music earning a living and raising a family, he has resumed composing and performing.   He is privileged to help Ira and Charles produce this event and hopes it will be meaningful for all involved.
