Naomi Gray
Naomi Gray is a young artist from the south side of Chicago. Her passion for music started at the age of 12 years old; after joining the Soul Children of Chicago founded by Walt Whitman! She has since then experienced many amazing opportunities, resulting in a great work ethic and motivational push to be the best musician she can! Naomi loves all genres of music and strongly believes that music connects people no matter their race, age, and/or gender! She tries her best to impact and reach the hearts of those who she can through her gift!
Naomi has had opportunities to work with a few MAJOR artists, such as Andra Day and Jussie Smollett (Including being featured on an episode of the show “Empire”). She has opened for artists such as Kierra Sheard-Kelly, John P Kee, Fred Hammond, Charles Jenkins, etc. She’s travelled the world singing and spreading joy to others through her voice! Naomi has also sang on projects that have won awards! She’s worked with major producers known in Chicago and abroad, some of them are DJ Mike, Nick McCree, & Jeff Akins. Furthermore, she’s had the chance to broadcast her gift on other shows as well. She’s made multiple appearances on Windy City Live, WGN News, ABC News; etc. She also sang at the “Wreathing of the Lions” annually, for 3 years in a row!
Naomi also uses her gift to serve at her local church home “All Nations Worship Assembly” (Chicago), pastored by Dr.Matthew L Stevenson! She also sings thorough out the city of Chicago, leading & also providing background vocals for artists based here! Naomi has been and will continue to use music as the door way to the hearts of people! She strongly supports the fact that music draws all people together, creating a connection like no other! One of the quotes she lives by is “One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain,” once stated by Bob Marley! Naomi will never stop making an impact using her gift, as long as it’s effective!
